For my card I used a couple of pieces of paper that I have made using glossy cardstock and Distress Stains and a piece of pattern from a pad I picked up at Wall Mart.
I have used Glossy Glaze on the glasses. The bird trinket is from a dollar bin at Michaels.
 Inside....
I hope you all have a great day and weekend.

ABC Monday At Bugaboo

I'm late with this post, I'm so sorry. I have a cold again and it just took the wind out of my sails yesterday. I don't feel that much better today. Darn, but I'm getting tired of not feeling well. I think I need to pay attention on how and what I eat, time to get healthy for spring.
So much for my woes.. Today is an Anything But A Card Day over at Bugaboo and I made a corner bookmark for my project today. Here is the close up first today. I used one of Jodie' Topper Images. If you head over to the Bugaboo Store you can find this image and more.
And here is is on a book page. I just love this Lion.
Have a great day everyone.

Friday Challenge At Dilly Beans

How about using up those bits and pieces of red paper that you have scattered all around from all the Valentine Cards you have been making lately? Throw in a little Black and you have the makings for a card for this weeks Challenge over at Dilly Beans. You got it. We want to see red and Black on your projects. Head over to the Dilly Beans Designer and Challenge Blog and see all the fun projects that the Design Team has been working on.
For my project today I used two of Megan's great images. # 379 Ophelia's Heart and # 377 Martin's Heart. How cute are these? The images are colored with Copics and the background is painted with Frost White all purpose ink. Nice shimmery background.
It is really hard to get the shimmer to show up. Sorry.
So now let's see what you come up with this week. There were so many great entries last week and I still need to finish up my commenting. It has been a crazy busy week with my Mom this week so I have to apologize.
Have a great weekend everyone.

Friday Freebie at Bugaboo

Whoops! there goes another one.........as in week, as in year. Can you believe it is the middle of February already. And it is my 60th Birthday. Wow! I don't feel old, I feel a mild sense of panic because how will I ever do all the things I want to do in the 30 or so years that I have left? I think it is time to make a list of my priorities and set some realistic goals.
In the mean time it is Friday and that means another Freebie over at Bugaboo. I chose to make a book mark with the image that Jodie is giving away today. If you head over to the Bugaboo Challenge Blog you can check out all the great examples by the Design Team and then run to the Bugaboo Store and pick up this cute little image for yourself.
I colored the image with Copics and used a larg tag for the base. The background is made by running the tag through my Big Shot using one of my new embossing folders from Stampin' Up.
 Love the buttons.
Maybe I'll pass this along to my Hubby. He reads all the time and can never have too many bookmarks.
Well I hope you all have a great day and a fantastic weekend.

For my entry I used one of the ( 10 Valentines Sentiments) that Jodie has created for this season, The come in a set of 8 and they are all adorable.  These would make great little valentine for your little ones to give to their classmates or to decorate an candy bag or the top of a sucker.

And a close-up. Love those beads.

Anything Goes Challenge At Bugaboo

Well it is the First of the month and that means that it is time for an Anything Goes Challenge over at Bugaboo Challenge Blog. It is always so much fun to see all the entries that we get for this challenge. You guys do a great job.
For my card today I used one of Jodie's newer images Girlz-Wiggle The Bait. I just love all the Girlz images. This reminds me of my youngest Daughters friend Veronica. She is a fisher woman from the word go. I was too when I could still hop from rock to rock down a beautiful Mountain Stream or river. Veronica fishes in the ocean too which is something I have never done.
The image is colored with Copics and the papers are from a new paper stack by GCD Studios. I added some fun buttons and glitter.
I can just see Veronica fishing in high heels. LOL!
 And inside.
I hope you all have a great weekend.

For my card today I used Megan's image #396 Amalia-Flower Fairy. The image is colored with Copics and I added some Martha Stewart Tinsel Glitter around the image border and some Stickles on the wings. The papers are My Minds Eye.

Very shiny. I used gel pen around the outside frame for the faux stitching.
 And inside... love these colors.
I hope you all have a great weekend. I am looking forward to the Superbowl game and all the great commercials. I used to be a huge 49er fan but lost interest when Montana, D. Clark,  Steve Young, Jerry Rice, all my guys moved on. Super Bowl is always fun though and it a great reminder of my Heart Attack 5 years ago.
