Friday Freebie At Bugaboo

Good morning everyone and Happy Good Friday! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. I plan to, starting off with a little shopping at Hobby Lobby with my sister and Great Niece and then a fun afternoon playing with new product and then.....A Good Friday Service with my Daughter and Sister. A great way to start the weekend.
Another Great way to start the weekend is with a Friday Freebie over at Bugaboo. Jodie has a great little image for you today and you can grab one for yourself in the Bugaboo Store. Don't forget to head over to the Bugaboo Challenge Blog to see what the designers have to share with you today.
For my card today I used some papers from K&Co. that I have had around forever. The butterflies are cut with a die that I bought at the Rubber Stamparama that I went to last weekend and I threw away the package without noticing the company. There were nine different dies in the set. I colored the image with Copics and used Glossy Accents on the Binky. The flourish is Zva Creative.

 And inside.
Once again I hope you all have a great weekend and Thanks for stopping by.

New Release Day At Bugaboo

Tuesday is here again. Time flies by so fast these days. We had our first Bar B-Q of the season Sunday evening and it was perfect. The day was beautiful, once I got the meat bees to vacate the bar-b-q I got that all cleaned up and ready to grill up some hamburgers and hot dogs. Yummy.
So today over at Bugaboo, Jodie has this adorable Turtle all ready for the April Showers that will bring May Flowers. We haven't had many showers here on the west coast this year but my flowers are already heading into a spectacular bloom.
For my image today I colored it with Copics and used some Glossy Effects to shine it up.
The background sun rays are made using a Memory Box Stencil and spray ink. The papers are new from Kaiser Craft.
And the inside is ready to go.
Be sure to head over to the Bugaboo Challenge Blog and see the fun samples the Design Team has to share and then run on over to the Bugaboo Store and check out the new releases for April.
Have a beautiful day everyone.

Friday Freebie At Bugaboo

Another Friday on the way. I'm so very happy for that. I get to pick my Granddaughters up and take them to school today and the littlest one and I have been stopping for a donut and coffee, because we have a little time between dropping big sister off and when she has to be at school. Sometimes we go to the Dollar Store just to look around but we have to find some other things.
So anyway, the reason you are here is to see the newest Friday Freebie from Bugaboo. Right? Well Here you go. Isn't this adorable? The image is colored with Copics and the egg has a coat of Glitter Mod Podge.  The papers are from a stack I picked up at Hobby Lobby and the frame is cut with a Spellbinders die. The butterfly and flowers are from a container of foam pieces that I picked up at Michaels to use in my Senior classes. I have to take some photos at the next class and share them.
I also added the glitter to the bow and the nose. Love the Easter Banner. A dollar stamp from Michaels.
And the inside is ready to go.
So do head over to the Bugaboo Challenge Blog and see what all the Designers have to share with you today and then run to the Bugaboo Store and pick up this cutie for yourself.
Have a great weekend everyone.

Friday Freebie At Bugaboo

Good Friday morning and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend planned. I have to do our taxes, go grocery shopping and then I can relax and get some crafting done while I watch the Walking Dead marathon that leads up to the season finally Sunday Night. Nooooo! It is too soon.
Anyway back to the real reason we are here today. Friday Freebie at Bugaboo. If you head over to the Bugaboo Store you can grab this sweet little bear for yourself. And d forget to check out the wonderful creations by the Design Team over on the Bugaboo Challenge Blog.
For my card today I colored the image with Copics and used papers from DCWV and Kathy Davis Ambrosia 6X6 pad. The chipboard pieces are from Studio g that I picked up at JoAnn's the other day.
I gave the nose and button a coat of Glitter Mod Podge. And all those lovely flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I was so pleased with the really quick service, the selection and the quality of the product.
 And then the inside.

I also wanted to share this card that I made the other day using the Scene It-Snails image that you can find Here. I had so much fun coloring up these little guys. Again the flowers are from Wild Orchid.
Glossy Effects really makes the eyes pop out. I wish the snails around my house looked like this.

I really hope you all have a great weekend.

A Fun Card; Good For Any Occasion.

This was so much fun to do. It really is an all occasion card. You just have to send it to the right person. Special. This is another image by Mitzi Sato-Wiuff of Aurora Wings.

http://aurorawingschallenge.blogspot.com/p/about-aurorawings.html

So for this card I colored the image Ghost Bride with my Copics and then  used Stampendous embossing  powders and glitter and fragments on the background. I love the way this turned out.
I found a wonderful scrap of netting for around the edge. It is hard to photograph it so it shows up well so I am sorry about that.
The face was a challenge but I went to the Walking Dead site to get ideas for colors.
 And then inside.....

I hope you all have  great day.

Another New Release From Bugaboo

Okay, it seems like I just did this post. The week went by so fast.  It has been a glorious week weather wise.  I just love the spring. I don't love the allergies but the new green fields and the mustard greens in them. I have Iris getting to open up and the dutch iris and freesia are in full bloom. The mornings are the best. Everything feels all glowing and fresh. When I look out my kitchen window there is a big pot of Ranunculi's in red and orange and the way the light shines it makes them glow. Just breath taking.  WOW!
So on to the New Release from Bugaboo for today. So spring! So Easter!
I colored the image with Copics and added some Glitter Mod Podge over the egg. The flower is a K & Co. punch out. The papers are My Minds Eye.
Isn't she just adorable. You can head over to the Bugaboo Store and grab this up for yourself along with all sorts of Easter and Spring Images. And don't forget to drop by the Bugaboo Challenge Blog to see all the wonderful projects by the Design Team.
Inside is so bright and ready to write. Ha Ha that rhymes.
Have a wonderful week everyone.

A Lot Of Coloring Fun.

I wanted to share a project that I did last week using an image from a New To Me Artist, Mitzi Sato-Wiuff of  Aurora Wings. I discovered her through a friends post on Facebook and I love her images.
This one is called Girl With Pansy and you can find it in her Etsy Shop, HERE. She has a lot of wonderful Images that I just can't wait to color up.
For this piece I printed the image on some Watercolor Canvas (Wall Mart) that I had hiding on a shelf and when it came out of the printer I sprinkled embossing powder on the still wet ink and heat set it. I knew it would run and bleed if I didn't and the only thing to remember is to have everything ready to go as it comes out. I have been known to start sprinkling on the embossing powder while it is still printing.  I think I will put this in a frame when I find the right one.
The sun rays are done using a stencil from Memory Box and I used DreamWeaver: Pearlescent Embossing Paste for the texture. I then colored the edges with Copics. The background is watercolor and then the rest of the coloring is done with Copics. I just love my Copics.
The circles are covered wit Goosebumps, The butterfly with Stickles and the pansies have a bit of Glitter Mod Podge.
The rhinestone flourish is Zva Creative. The other embellishments come from all over.
I hope you all have a good weekend and come back soon for some more fun images. Do go check out the Aurora Wings Blog and or the Facebook Page.
